Internal Teller Dashboard & AI Assistant for VÚB Bank

Revolware collaborated with VÚB Banka on rethinking the internal digital tools used daily by bank tellers, with the clear goal of radically reducing preparation time before client meetings. The project originated during a company-wide internal hackathon, where we joined as mentors to help teams explore how multiple legacy and modern systems could be combined into a single, intuitive dashboard. What started as mentoring quickly evolved into hands-on UX consulting, system analysis, and AI-oriented interface design, focused on summarizing all relevant client data in seconds instead of the original 30-minute preparation routine.
Our work concentrated on mapping real user flows across dozens of internal applications, identifying friction points, and proposing a unified interface supported by an AI assistant (“AI Buddy”) that guides tellers through preparation, highlights key insights, and adapts to context. We designed UX and UI concepts for a modular dashboard, explored personalization on a per-user level, and defined a scalable design system that could gradually modernize even very old legacy applications. The solution emphasized faster onboarding, fewer logins, clearer navigation, and better adoption by clearly communicating that the system was co-designed with bank employees themselves.
Our project validated a crucial impact: preparation time was effectively reduced from tens of minutes to seconds, while opening the door to future capabilities such as predictive client needs, smarter sales support, and improved employee satisfaction. The collaboration also demonstrated how agile external teams can meaningfully support innovation even inside large, highly regulated financial institutions.
