Teamtabler.com started as an internal Revolware project born from a very practical frustration: syncing multiple Google and calDAV Calendars into one clear, shared view of team availability. As our own teams grew, managing people, rooms, vehicles, and tasks across scattered calendars became inefficient and error-prone. Teamtabler was designed to turn fragmented calendar data into a single, understandable source of truth for managers and teams.

At its core, Teamtabler is an online time-management platform that visualizes team workload in real time. It allows managers to plan shifts and tasks more easily, automatically calculate worked hours, overtime, and vacations, and maintain clear communication through seamless calDAV and Google Calendar integrations. Instead of chasing updates across emails and chats, both managers and employees work with the same up-to-date schedule.

From a product and UX perspective, a major focus was simplicity and clarity. The system evolved through intensive internal use and feedback, leading to reworked registration flows, clearer filtering, improved calendar structures, and a strong emphasis on removing unnecessary complexity. Activities, projects, and teams were reorganized so users could instantly understand who is doing what, where, and when, without cognitive overload.

Technically, Teamtabler was built as a modern web application using a Laravel backend with GraphQL (Laravel Lighthouse) and a Vue-based frontend with server-side rendering for performance and SEO. The architecture supports scalable data handling, real-time updates, and future integrations such as Slack notifications or advanced reporting. Google services integration played a key role, ensuring smooth adoption without forcing teams to abandon tools they already used.
